If anyone lives in Utah or Arizona there is going to be a live news cast on the infection I came home from Mexico with: Pseudomonas aeruginosa
You can also google:
CDC Tijuana Superbug
Grandview Hospital Mexico
Pseudomonas aeruginosa Grandview Hospital
And you will see I was one of the first to come home with, but not the last to be taken down by this superbug.

I know the people in the articles and interviews and their surgeries were post mine and we have been consistently shut down from allowing to post in the support group for patients. So one of the ladies went public.
It’s sure to be bigger news soon.

My journey through divorce and an emotional and sexual reawakening. Love, laughter, friendships, family and heartbreak included. And there is sex, lots of it, so close your eyes and turn the page if that's not for you!
While I started this blog as an endeavor to journal my thoughts and feelings in an attempt to better understand myself, it has become an amazing platform from which I have met some of the most interesting and wonderful people in my life.
My path is often crooked, but I hope you will share in the journey with me.

Madeline, of course, I’m sorry that you wound up being infected but without offense, I’m not surprised that it happened given the number of horror stories I’ve heard from others who went to Mexico to have something done cheaper than it would have been here at home – and they’ve regretted such a decision.
So it’s good someone went public and, hopefully, it’ll get Mexican hospitals to up their standards and get out of the medieval age of medicine.

Holy shit. That is so scary. I’m sorry this happened to you, though I’m glad that it’s gaining exposure so that others considering medical travel will do their research carefully before they go forward with surgeries.

We really want to get the word out there because the agent and hospital where this happened are covering it up! More people go there every day and some are still coming home with infections!

Lucky to be alive. It could have been so much worse. It shouldn’t have happened at all!
